Ask reasonable questions about the item and seller. Be cautious when information changes or the seller avoids providing reasonable verification.

Do not rely only on screenshots, messages or payment confirmation images supplied by a buyer. Verify receipt through your own bank or payment account.
Protect Your Account
Never provide passwords, OTPs, PINs or other authentication credentials to someone claiming they are required to send you money.
Be Careful With Links
Do not open suspicious payment or verification links sent by unknown buyers. Check the destination carefully before entering any information.
Confirm Before Handover
Make sure agreed payment has actually been received before handing over or dispatching an item.
Watch for Unusual Requests
Exercise caution if a buyer offers substantially more than your asking price or introduces complicated payment, refund or courier arrangements without a clear reason.
Mark Sold Listings
Once an item is no longer available, mark the listing as Sold from your JanelRoots account to avoid unnecessary enquiries.
